Fuel Card Program

Awahe services

Your biggest expense, with a discount attached.

Fuel is the largest single line on most carrier P&Ls. A fuel card program gets you discounted pricing at partner stops, spending controls per driver, and one clean statement instead of a shoebox full of receipts.

What a fuel card gets you

  • Discounted fuel

Savings at partner stops along the lanes you already run. The size of the discount depends on the network and your volume.

  • Control per driver

Set limits, see what was bought and where, and shut a card off the moment you need to. No more finding out at month end.

  • Books that add up

One statement covering every truck makes IFTA, bookkeeping and cost-per-mile something you can actually calculate.

How we help

  1. Tell us how you burn fuelNumber of trucks, the lanes you run, and roughly what you spend a month.
  2. We introduce youWe connect you with fuel card partners whose networks actually cover your lanes — a big discount at a stop you never pass is worth nothing.
  3. You compare and enrolPrepaid or credit, fees, network coverage and reporting all differ. The account is opened in your name, directly with the provider.

This is a fit if you

  • Run under your own authority
  • Have more than one driver buying fuel
  • Are guessing at your monthly fuel spend
  • Want spending limits per driver
  • Are chasing paper receipts for IFTA
  • Run regular lanes past major truck stops

Questions people actually ask

Who issues the card?

A third-party fuel card provider. The account, the credit decision and the discount schedule are all theirs. Awahe introduces you and helps you read the terms — we do not issue cards or extend credit.

How big is the discount?

It varies by network, by individual stop and by how much you buy, and providers change it. Anyone quoting you one fixed number per gallon for every stop is overselling. Ask for the current discount schedule in writing.

Do I need good credit?

Not always. Some programs are prepaid, which is usually the realistic route for a brand new authority. Others extend credit and will run a check. Both exist — tell us where you stand and we will point you at the right one.
