Dispatch training is not one career, it is four. This page lays out the routes people actually take after they certify, what you will be able to do, and what we do — and do not — do to help you get there.

Four routes out of the same training

Our students arrive from every stage of a trucking career. These are the directions they go.

Your first dispatch job
No CDL, no logistics background, no problem. Dispatching is an office role — you learn the software, the load boards and the language, then go after a junior dispatch position.
Dispatch your own trucks
Owner-operators who stop paying a percentage to someone else. You keep the margin, choose your own lanes, and answer to nobody about which loads you take.
Start a dispatch service
Dispatch for other carriers as your own business. This is the route that scales, and the one where the business-side training matters as much as the dispatching.
Bring dispatch in-house
Small fleet owners who want dispatch and compliance handled by their own team instead of an outside service they cannot see into.

What you will be able to do

Every program is taught live and one-on-one, on real load boards and real dispatch software — not demo data.

Freight dispatching — load booking, route planning, rate negotiation and daily operations

How the path works

Pick your route
Tell us where you are starting from and we will point you at the program that fits — or tell you honestly if none of them do yet.
Train live, one-on-one
Three to four weeks of live sessions with an instructor working in freight today, in English, Punjabi or Hindi.
Certify
Pass the final exam and your Awahe Academy certificate lands in your app profile, ready to show an employer or a broker.
Keep going
Mentorship continues for up to three months, your course material stays open for a year, and the app connects you with carriers, brokers and job posts.

What happens after the certificate

The certificate is a starting line, not a finish. For three months afterwards you still have a mentor to bring real problems to — a load that went wrong, a broker who will not pay, a rate you are not sure about. Your course material stays available for a full year, so you can go back to a lesson when it finally becomes relevant.

If your route is the independent one, the parts that sit outside the classroom are covered on our services page: business setup and authority, factoring so you are not waiting 30 to 90 days to get paid, fuel cards, and a load board discount.

Where we stand on job promises. We do not place students in jobs, and we would be sceptical of any school that says it will. What we provide is live training, a certificate you earn by passing an exam, a mentor for three months, and a room full of carriers, brokers and job posts in the app. The introductions are yours to make.

Common questions

Do I need experience to start?

No. Dispatching is an office role, not a driving one, and no prior logistics experience is required. Students start from complete newcomers through to owner-operators who already run trucks.

Will Awahe find me a job?

No, and be careful of any school that promises one. What you get is training, a certificate on passing the final exam, a mentor for up to three months, and access to carriers, brokers and job posts in the Awahe app. The introductions are yours to make.

How soon could I be working?

Core training runs three to four weeks. How quickly that turns into work depends on you, your market and how much practice you put in — which is why mentorship continues for up to three months after the course ends.

Can I dispatch my own truck instead of working for someone?

Yes. The owner-operator programs are built for exactly that, and cover the business side — registration, authority, and the systems you need from day one.

What if I want to run my own dispatch business?

That is a common path. Once you are trained, our services side can help with the parts that sit outside the classroom — business setup, factoring, fuel cards and a load board discount.
