Delete Your Awahe Account

This Account Deletion Policy applies to all registered users of the Awahe website (awahe.com) and the Awahe mobile application (collectively referred to as the "Platform"). This Agreement is between you ("User") and Company: Awahe ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"), incorporated in California, USA, with its registered address at 2311 N Tracy Blvd, WV 06, Tracy, CA 95376, USA. We respect your right to control your personal data. If you wish to permanently delete your Awahe Academy account, please read the following information carefully before proceeding.

1. What Happens When You Delete Your Account
  • Your profile, personal information, and login credentials will be permanently removed from our system.
  • Your enrollment records and course progress will be deleted and cannot be recovered.
  • You will lose access to all purchased courses, certificates, and downloadable materials.
  • Any active subscriptions will be cancelled. No refunds will be issued for unused portions of paid plans or courses.
  • Your data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy available at awahe.com/privacy.
  • If you registered using a third-party account (Google, Facebook, Apple, LinkedIn, or X/Twitter, etc.), deleting your Awahe account will not delete your third-party account. You must manage those separately.

Please note: Some data may be retained for a limited period as required by applicable law, including transaction records for tax and legal compliance purposes.
Important: Some data may be retained for legal compliance (see Section 4 below).
2. How to Request Account Deletion
You can request deletion in two ways:

1. Complete the Account Deletion Request Form at the bottom of this page.
2. In the Awahe mobile app: Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account.

We will:
- Confirm receipt of your verifiable request within 10 business days.
- Complete deletion within 30 calendar days (as required by CCPA/CPRA), unless an extension is needed.

Parents or legal guardians may submit a request on behalf of a minor by contacting info@awahe.com with proof of guardianship.
3. Before You Delete
Before submitting a deletion request, please consider the following alternatives:
  • Need a break? You can simply log out and return whenever you are ready. Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone.
  • Privacy concern? You can update your communication preferences and notification settings directly inside your account settings page without deleting your account.
  • Having trouble? Contact our support team first at info@awahe.com — we are happy to help resolve any issues before you make a permanent decision.

4. Data Retention After Deletion
Upon deletion of your account, Awahe will remove your personal data from active systems in accordance with our Privacy Policy. However, certain data may be retained for a limited period where required by applicable law, including but not limited to: Transaction and billing records, signed contracts, and tax invoices. Specifically, for users engaged in real estate transactions or Awahe Academy purchases, we are legally required to retain these records for 7 years as per California financial regulations.
  • Transaction and billing records are retained for tax and financial compliance purposes.
  • Data required to resolve any outstanding disputes or legal obligations.
  • Anonymized or aggregated data that cannot be linked back to you personally.
  • Personal data will be permanently deleted within 30 days of account deletion confirmation, unless retention is required by law.

All retained data will be handled in compliance with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) and other applicable laws.
